1. I like their hoagies and philly cheesesteaks (just be warned, though, that I've never had an "authentic"
cheeseteak in Philly).
FYI. Owner is a regular poster on these boards.

Yes, they do have hoagies.
I usually get the roast beef or the Italian. I once made the mistake of getting an 18" and almost threw up trying to
finish it. Not because it wasn't tasty, but because one person can only stomach so much bread, meat, lettuce,
cheese, etc. in one sitting ...
Never had their pizzas. Usually stick to the sandwiches, including the cheesesteaks.

3. I've only had the philly cheesesteak from this place, and it is a good, solid version of a cheesesteak. They
use amoroso rolls, they offer all the standard (and non-standard) options.
Much better than South Street, about as good as Philadelphia sandwiches in NoHo (my extent of cheese steak
knowledge, FWIW.)
Friends of mine have had their tacos, and they were not that great. Havent tried their pie, nor many other things on
their extensive menu.

4. I've been happy with their hoagies and cheesesteaks - not thrilled with the pizza (but I don't much care for
thin crust - didn't have a problem with the toppings). Only dined-in once, mostly get take-out.

5. Went for the first time for lunch last week. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the LuigiOrtega Bread. I
really liked the pizza - thin crust, very tasty. The bread was not worth it - maybe if they put more cheese on it... My
friend always orders BBQ chicken pizzas everywhere and said that this one was one of her favorites. She also
ordered the Carrot Cake (before she saw the German Chocolate) and said she liked it. I, personally, LOVE the
salsa/pepper bar. So many choices! Will definitely return!

6. It's a regular stop for me. LOVE the cheesesteaks and hoagies. A friend got a pizza the other day; I was
pleasantly surprised. It's a very thin crust, as others have noted, which I like, and they're cooked in a wood burning
oven.
I am unimpressed with the fries and onion rings; they could really do better in this department. Then again, their
sandwiches are sufficiently filling that I don't need the sides, and I can do without the extra grease and calories. I
do wish they had a selection of potato chips, because sometimes a few chips (there's a Pennsylvania-based
brand, the name of which is escaping me at the moment) on the side really completes the meal.
I do like the condiment bar quite a bit.
The people who staff the place are very friendly and accommodating.
I should also mention that they carry a nice selection of specialty sodas in bottles, in addition to the standard
fountain offerings. And, there's a surprising amount of free parking in the rear.
Pasadena is really becoming a haven for sandwich lovers. One of these days (when I'm not helping my fiancee
plan our wedding, perhaps) I may do a Pasadena sandwich roundup, with LO taking on Lee's Hoagie House,
Connal's, Pasadena Sandwich Co., the Italian deli on Lake (Roma, maybe?) along with a couple of others I have
yet to try (anyone been to Eddie's Market on Michigan Ave., between Del Mar and Cordova?).

7. I stopped by a few weekends ago and got fish tacos. It had a different sauce and different veggies than the
usual fish tacos, but it was still good. I think I remember reading somewhere in their literature that they serve
"inauthentic" Mexican dishes, and that they're proud of it.
Could do without the wallpaper featuring assorted generic city scenes and the exposed plumping near the soda
dispensers, but all in all the atmosphere wasn't bad.
Was told by staff (who are indeed nice and friendly) that the owners also own Big Mama's and Papa's pizza in
Pasadena.

"unauthentic" Mexican dishes. I have no clue what authentic mexican cuisine is. Like chinese we've really
americanized Mexican food (i.e.burrito, chimichunga) We just copied (stole) recipes that we thought tasted good or
customers told us about.
